The Silver Class by Dominic Lacroix and Delphine Romaire

Elite Dance Studio is a dance studio in Canada owned by world-class ballroom dance professionals, Dominic Lacroix and Delphine Romaire. This very talented ballroom couple also personally teaches students through special training sessions, especially for those who are off to compete in dance competitions like national dance championships and international ballroom dance contests.

There are dance classes for beginners and intermediate-level dance students who want to know how to dance and be comfortable in dancing on the dance floor, especially during events and special occasions. These classes or dance programs usually run for eight weeks where students are taught on the basics of a number of ballroom dances. Among these dances are Foxtrot, Samba, Cha-cha, Waltz, Jive and Quickstep.

Those who have mastered these basic techniques can advance to the intermediate level, where students are taught more complicated dance moves and routines. Consequently, those who intend to pursue more advanced dance lessons can enroll in advanced dance classes. In Elite Dance Studio, this class is known as the Silver Class, facilitated by Dominic and Delphine themselves.

Students in this class are usually those who already have some knowledge on the International Bronze syllabus and are interested in pursuing more advanced ballroom dance learning. Ballroom dance competitions are usually divided into categories based on dance skill level. The Newcomers category is the one for beginners, while the others are as follows according to the most basic: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Pre-Championship, and Championship.

Dominic and Delphine’s Silver Classes run for around eight weeks, during which, students are taught on Silver dance variations.
