Kids Club

Elite Dance Studio has a special dance program for kids and teens aged 8 to 17 years old. This is the DoDel Kids Club, which is a combination of dance and sports training for the younger generation of dancers.

Since Elite Dance Studio’s owners Dominic Lacroix and Delphine Romaire themselves started dancing when they were still very young, they have a soft spot for children and teenagers who want to learn and master the art of ballroom dancing.

DoDel Kids Club is composed of an introductory program, organized rehearsal sessions, and summer boot camps. These programs usually start every January and September. About two hours are dedicated for the introductory program every week. There’s an hour for group syllabus discussion and an hour for practice or practical application.

Fees are based on weekly rates. Elite Dance Studio requires aspiring students to register in advance so as to give the staff and trainers enough time to allocate suitable partners for each student. Partners are usually assigned based on the students’ age category, size, and height.

DoDel Kids Club has classes for beginners and for children and teens who already know the basics of ballroom dancing. This is to ensure that students get the appropriate level of dance lessons and training method for maximum learning.

This kids’ dance club has already been featured in several news and feature programs and publications. Among them are CTV News, CityTV’s BT, CareersTV, Young Fitness Amateur Sports News, and Edmonton Journal.

Students in the advanced level also get special training sessions from internationally recognized guest dance instructors such as Benoit Drolet of London, Jean-Marc Gйnйreux of Montreal, and Jane Edgett of Halifax.
